Crystal River Fishing July 2022

Today was all about top water fishing. I took out one of my long time clients John, and his goal for today was to catch as many big Redfish and Snook on top water as he could. We started the day by throwing a Skitter Walk along the outer mangrove islands in Crystal River, landing a handful of nice Redfish and Snook. But the real excitement happened when we moved into the Crystal River backcountry. John landed multiple over slot Redfish including this 30 inch beauty!
